Katty is the founder of Cre8action, a forum and team facilitation practice. She is also the president of Artisan Creative, a digital, creative, and marketing recruitment agency with a focus on creative, marketing, and design talent as well as the founder of Inspiring Hiring, a resume and job portal for creative and marketing talent.
She brings over 20+ years of "people and culture" experience helping teams grow, adopt best practices, and create action. Combining her business acumen with her facilitation skills, Katty helps entrepreneurial companies, teams, and forums maximize their potential.
Katty is currently the MyEO Committee Chair for the Entrepreneurs' Organization and a member of EO San Francisco. Previous volunteer roles include EO Forum Trainer Sub-Committee member, as well as the chair for Global Spousal Forum Sub-Committee for EO.
Raised in San Francisco, England, and Iran, Katty brings a multi-cultural perspective to her interactions. She earned a BA in English Literature from UC Santa Cruz and a Merchandising Degree from FIDM in San Francisco. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband of 26 years, Jamie.
Katty is a speaker, a podcast host, and currently working on her first TEDx talk. She has spoken at EO’s Global Leadership Conference to share her journey with 1,200+ member leaders in attendance.
Katty believes we all have a story to tell and that our greatest journey is through self-discovery. Her first book The Butterfly Years chronicles her own journey through grief toward hope and healing is due out on Feb 4th, 2021. Katty is currently working on her second project, Hope in Grief.
